Thanks Royal. I woke up to discover a wonder on my computer. After booting to the default window and I click on start when the small window open, no program list shows up rather I have continous ///////////////// taking over the start search column below where 'all programs' ought to be. As if not enough, if I have anything type and saved in notepad or in word i.e. letters, document once opened I see /////////////// continuously taking over and replacing the characters in my document. Well I thought it was a virus. i've tried avast, kerpasky, panda without result. I've formatted my drive twice in two weeks to no avail. The trouble keeps disabling or making my Audio codec to disappear or making my volume swich to disappear and each time you open a window all you hear is a repeated cracking sound or the system becomes a 'deaf and dumb' I still connot identify whether this wonder is a virus, bug, worm or only god knows. pls I need help to solve this frastration //////////////////////. Pls help me out. My mail address is: Jummyme@gmail.com. I have a system call "HASEE" with a Vista business 32bit, 3gb ram,250gb hard drive. The system needs urgent help pls.

specify the name of the company whose hardware you are using, means your laptop/desktop company name. Do specify the model number, from the initial view it seems like a driver issue.

Thanks Saurabhg. Now I can breath a sigh of hope. The Computer name is 'HASEE'. It's a notebook from a Chinese company. The model number is MP480

Dear Bola,

I suggest you to search some Chinese tech forums, as i am not familiar with this product HASSE. So could be of no help in this case, what i recommend you to personally try some google search queries like "hasee netbook MP480" or "hasee netbook MP480 drivers" etc. Get the correct list drivers and install them again removing the unwanted drivers.
